Right on time...

I love challenges and I love doing things which revolves around the artsy-fartsy world.
I never took culinary studies, I wish I did because I wanted to expand my knowledge especially in baking.
It has always been a passion apart from singing, and now I get to do it. You want to know how it feels? It feels great. I get to to do two things I love most in life. I thank God for that.

The world is as real as it is, and sometimes when someone drops a bombshell on you, for an order of 200 hundred custom-made cupcakes in a two day notice, you just have to do it and it means someone loves your creation and wants more of it..hehe..

This was for an opening of  a new Spanish restaurant in 1Borneo, La Fuente.

This order really triggered my spine, but I am at the same time grateful and thankful to have had this order done right on time.
Thanks Leben!

Thank You

Recently Cupcake Calendar had the chance be part of Miss Earth Sabah, providing scrumptious cupcakes during the week long event.

First Attempt

I may be inexperience, but I am surely passionate in what I put myself into.
Lucky me, my right brain did work hard giving me ideas while left brain stood thinking so hard.
Despite the new oven being so stubborn and cant cope with extension"s"

Cupcake Calendar is still very grateful to be part of Miss Earth Sabah 2010.

the end product :)

We decided to not put the pinks on the icing because according to the right brain, pink sometimes can kill other colours.

GOTHIC PRINCESS

I have always been a great fan of chocolate and i love the sandy texture of butter cream in my icing.
Something light and fluffy with a great hint of dark chocolate icing, Calendar presents..

GOTHIC PRINCESS

GREEN TEA

I've gone through numerous attempts of perfecting each batch of cupcakes that comes out from the oven. Sometimes, Its either too moist or too dry.

Just 2 weeks ago, I came up with this new invention of my own (my recipe from scratch), I call it Green Tea cupcake.
I am not sure whether or not it's considered as a healthy cupcake, but why not give it a try and see how healthy you can become after eating one. :)
